In the spring of 2022, I was commissioned by the logistics and supply chain consulting firm LIDD to document warehouses using their designs and integrated technologies. Photographed within the distribution centres of some of Canada’s largest retailers, these images make visible the engineering and immense space required to move goods at scale.
Beyond their technical utility, these photographs offer a window into the "hidden" infrastructure of the modern economy. While online shopping is ubiquitous, the physical spaces and labor powering it remain largely invisible to the consumer. This series brings those facilities into view.
The photographs are featured extensively across LIDD’s digital platforms and is permanently installed as framed prints and large-scale murals in their Montreal and Toronto offices.
